Pangula Mannamurna aims to provide a culturally appropriate and sensitive health service to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

This service is safe, secure and accessible. We work closely with other health professionals to ensure a high standard of client care.

Clinic Opening Hours

Monday to Friday

9am – 5pm

Home Visits

Home visits can be arranged for regular clients whose condition prevents them from attending the clinic. These will be arranged on a case by case basis.

Bulk Billing

The services we offer are free with a valid Medicare card; however, referrals to services outside the clinic may incur fees.
If you are unsure please speak with Clinic Staff for clarification

Transport

Pangula Mannamurna can provide transport for clients to attend clinic appointments within Mount Gambier limits.

Transport needs to be booked with reception staff in advance.

Test Results

We encourage clients to make follow-up appointments to review test results. If this is not required, call the clinic and ask to speak to one of our nurses. If the doctor or nurse think that the results are urgent, we will contact the client either by phone, letter or in person.

Pangula Mannamurna offer an appointment booking service. Appointment time slots are
generally 20 minutes in length. Clients may request to see a particular doctor and this will be accommodated wherever possible.

An Aboriginal Health Worker will see you prior to your appointment to take some observations [blood pressure, temperature etc.]

Appointments are dedicated to one person at a time.

If you are a parent or partner you may be present at the consultation [with the client’s
permission]; however, if you need to discuss your own health and wellbeing you will need to make a separate appointment.

If you believe you need a longer appointment [i.e. for PATS, Centrelink or WorkCover
documents to be completed] please tell our reception staff when booking your appointment so a double appointment is made.

Appointments are available daily. Female and Male GP’s are available at specific times.
Please contact the clinic for further information on 08 8724 7270.
